Kaladin has a good heart. I don’t think Gaz cares—if Bridge 4 tries to escape they’ll likely die and to him, good riddance. Tien’s story is sooooo depressing. The earlier epigraph foreshadowing Kal’s second ideal is not something I caught until subsequent rereads.
