Leaving Scadrial behind, we head to Taldain for the earliest moment in the as-yet-published Cosmere. A graphic novel featuring some new faces and one who we know in passing. Our podcast crew has a very different sort of adventure ahead of them on this one. See how they handle a new style of storytelling on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

@Jaime : Cool info on clocks and the big differences in the halves. I think a lot of the info added to the map was after Khriss became a worldhopper. Her fixing the clock fits well with something in the second half in volume 1. Nice predigaments!

I also think that the Khriss written pages would be easier with a larger font size/better spacing. Artists changing within a series irritates me. How did Joe like the Batman New 52?!?! An interview recently (April 2024) came out with the editor at that time who had also worked on X-Men and like Joe said, he found it was easier to do new Batman stuff with 1 main character than keeping up with 50+ character continuities with X-Men.

I have the original 3 graphic novels so didn’t know there was a prologue. Amazon preview to the rescue! There is so much more lore given in the omnibus too. SIGH. I can only see thru the fist pages of chapter 1. But love the sash & creature info. Like Dac, I REALLY STRUGGLE with remembering who’s who. Everything looks the same, tho the art of the prologue is MUCH easier than the original art of chapters 1-12. Like what Joe said. I wish we had a map of Darkside.
